Walk-a-Thon
Thank you to the over 100 kids who walked in our annual Walk-a-Thon today!  It was a great turn out and great fun on our new track!  Please turn your donations into your teachers by October 16th.

Farm Stand Information
OA's ecology charter reminds us to reuse. Please return any green baskets or bags you borrowed from farm stand. And if you happen to have green pint baskets, or other produce containers that are in good shape, or reusable bags that you'd like to share, please leave them on the farm stand cart. Farm stand also gratefully accept any cash donation you can give and puts that money to work right back into our garden program.
BOOK FAIR
The BOOK FAIR, run by local favorite COPPERFIELD'S BOOKS, is the week of 10/1. A portion of proceeds directly fund our OA library program. Volunteers are urgently needed! Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to sign up.

STORY NIGHT
Story Night is Wednesday, October 4th from 6:30-7:30 pm. Mrs. Hinton will be reading Halloween stories and the PTO will be serving cookies and milk.  Put on your favorite PJs, grab a blanket and come enjoy one of Old Adobe's most cherished traditions! This event is for all ages -- you are never too old to enjoy a great story Copperfield's Bookfair will be open in the library.

JOIN PTO
The PTO membership drive is on! The class(es) with the highest participation in PTO will win a pizza party (last year's winners had 100% participation). Members do not have to attend meetings or volunteer  but are always welcome to come discuss and/or vote on PTO actions. Your membership donation will help ensure that PTO-sponsored programs continue at Old Adobe. It's wonderful it is that half of our classes already have over 50% participation!  This is amazing!

Our Roadrunners need a place to RUN!
The PTO has worked hard to provide a track. We only need $20,000 to complete this project and give our kids a safe place to exercise. We will reach this funding goal if every family donates only $80.  It may be that grandparents or other family members would want to donate as well. Every little bit helps in reaching our goal.
