The Old Adobe Parent Teacher Organization is working on funding and installing a track for our school to use for running and walking. This has been a priority of the school and the parents for many years. This track is nearly complete and we need donations to final parts of this project.
Old Adobe School is a closely knit community with a stong sense of our identity and beliefs regarding how to help students learn and grow.
This is the vision for the Old Adobe School community.
The vision of Old Adobe Elementary Charter School is to continue to develop the important elements of a strong and thriving school community. We are committed to developing students who have the foundation of a well-rounded education and are well developed socially and emotionally. We also are committed to providing learning experiences that develop a healthy lifestyle and an understanding of and appreciation for the environment. We also will work to make the arts a central part of teaching and learning for everyone in our school.
Finally, We will foster the involvement and passion of all members of the school community. We will maintain a mutually dependent learning community where everyone is free to grow and learn in a safe school setting.

Old Adobe School has adopted "Toolbox." Toolbox is a program that teaches children how to use ther own internal resources to manage themselves and to deal with difficult situations. Toolbox is based on mindfulness and is used throughout our school.
Old Adobe Charter School is a small school with a big heart. Families and staff work closely together to create a special place to learn and grow. Old Adobe truly is a place where, "everyone knows your name." We are a unique school with a challenging charter. Our charter features integrating the arts into all curricular areas and teaching ecology through a school-wide edible garden. We feature strong academics taught in ways allow creativity and are in line with how the brain learns best.
